<b>Waste Watchers</b> is a component of the Mayor’s Office-backed by <b>Greenworks Philadelphia</b> - a comprehensive sustainability plan to make Philadelphia the greenest city in America by 2015. The festival also plans to stay green with waste reduction,
water filtration systems, and composting, encouraging festival-goers to use public transportation and requiring food vendors to serve in compostable containers.
