Los Angeles, CA - October 29, 2014 - Canadian hip-hop artist SonReal (2 Juno Award nominations and a 2014 Much Music Video Award Winner) premieres his official music video for "Preach," PRESS HERE<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTNae8HxkTE&feature=youtu.be> to watch. The video follows SonReal's crossover journey through America paying visits to iconic landmarks such as Mount Rushmore, the Rio Grande, New Orleans' Bourbon Street and others. The video was filmed during his recent 53 city U.S. tour capturing 2-5 seconds of the music video every day.

"We always strive to push the boundaries of what music videos can be, and go against the grain with the way we create them," says SonReal about the making of the video.

SonReal recently led the pack in nominations next to Drake for this particular video at the 2014 Much Music Video Awards in the following categories: MuchFACT Video of the year (Winner); Video of The Year; Hip Hop Video of the Year; Director of The Year; and Fan Favorite Video Of the Year.

In 2013 and 2014 he was also nominated alongside Rich Kidd and Drake for the Juno Award for Best Rap Recording of the Year for "The Closers" and "Everywhere We Go" (Black Box).

SonReal got his start in high school when he realized his passion hip hop superseded everything else. Following high school SonReal moved to Vancouver where he got a taste for performing at open mic nights throughout the city and slowly built a fanbase in his own backyard. After attending Pacific Audio Visual Institute, SonReal graduated as an audio engineer and began recording and mixing his own music.  The Vancouver rapper has independently garnered attention through consistently releasing original and innovative material. As proven by the high accolades he has received in his home country of Canada, SonReal has landed himself at the forefront of not only Vancouver's hip hop scene but the Canadian music industry as a whole.
