Rum & Humble and Spaceland Presents are thrilled to announce the first ever Santa Monica BEACH BALL Soul Revue & Reggae Fest, presented by KCRW 89.9, which will be held at the world famous Santa Monica Pier on September 21 & 22.  Los Angeles' RH&S Concerts (a joint venture of Rum & Humble and Spaceland Presents) have put together a beachside dance party filled with top-notch soul, funk, ska, and reggae acts. The two day festival will feature performances by Aloe Blacc, Allen Stone, Maceo Parker, Michael Rose of Black Uhuru with Sly & Robbie, The Skatalites and many more. See the full lineup below!

The Beach Ball Soul Revue mixes young upstarts of the genre Aloe Blacc and Allen Stone with classic old school practitioners Maceo Parker and Lee Fields.  The Beach Ball Reggae Fest sees the historic reunion of Michael Rose with Black Uhuru's original legendary rhythm section Sly & Robbie. It will also feature a set by the Skatalites, as well as a rare performance by revered Jamaican vocalist U Roy fronting the island's premiere backing band Soul Syndicate - featuring original members Fully Fullwood, Santa Davis and Tony Chin.

Performer Aloe Blacc says, "I've been looking forward to performing at the Santa Monica Pier for a long time.  It's the perfect place to debut my new album for LA fans."

Rum & Humble principal Martin Fleischmann states, "The Santa Monica Pier has been the site of many memorable soul and reggae concerts that have been part of the free-to-the public Twilight Concert Series.  We're taking this a few steps further and putting on a whole weekend packed with soul shouting, funking, skanking, and grooving.  If you enjoy your body moving ecstatically and uncontrollably to music of the highest order, you should probably make your way to the Pier that weekend!"

Both two day passes and single day tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, June 28 at noon via Ticketfly.com<http://Ticketfly.com> and will range from $17 for Early Bird single day general admission to $114 for full price two-day VIP with front-of-stage viewing and access to the backstage patio bar.
