[RS_PRESS3-LR]Raphael Saadiq's new album, Stone Rollin', debuts as the #1 R&B album and the #14 on Top 200 album chart, making it the highest charting album of his career. The album's release  follows on the heels of a recent media blitz of TV performances including Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Call with Carson Daly and Conan. The second leg of Raphael Saadiq's tour kicks off today in Atlanta (see dates below) where he is scheduled to make a special appearance on BET's "The Mo'Nique Show" which will air later this summer. Raphael is also scheduled to make appearances on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno' on June 23rd and the ESPY's on July 13th! In addition to the album's successful debut, Raphael's new single "Good Man" is approaching Top 10 at urban radio.

Released on May 10th, Stone Rollin', nods to Saadiq's heroes like Chuck Berry, Stevie Wonder, Little Walter and Sly Stone, while merging his own contemporary twist, one born out of a combination of his recent touring experiences, as well as inspiration derived from indie acts that hold regular rotation in his iPod. Known for defying the confines of working within one genre, Stone Rollin' celebrates the sounds of 60's and 70's with a futuristic twist.
