<b>Karen O</b>. “SO much feeling went into this record, it was the rope ladder thrown down into the ditch for us to climb up and dust ourselves off. I hope others can climb up it too; we’re excited to share the good vibes.”<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<b>O</b>. “Much of the music was demoed in our little basement studio in Manhattan with drum machines, a shitty sample keyboard and tons of delay - which we called the soup.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Georgia","serif"">“I think this record has more moodier and tripped-out songs than you've ever heard from us,” she continues. “You might catch some roots reggae and minimalist

<u>Rolling Stone</u> as “the goth, the nerd and the slut” have been busy in the past few years.<b> Karen O</b></span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Georgia","serif""> co- created a psycho-opera (with KK Barrett) titled
<i>Stop The Virgens</i>, which she described as an assault on the tragic joys of youth spun through a cycle of nine songs.<b> O</b> took
<i>Stop The Virgens</i> from New York’s St. Ann’s all the way to the Sydney Opera House, bringing
<b>Chase</b> along on drums in the production and <b>Zinner</b> as guitarist and musical director.
<u>Spin</u> noted “<i>Stop The Virgens</i> <span style="background:white">is musical theater as catharsis, and it illustrates just how much
<b>Karen O</b> has grown as an artist over her decade-long career.”<br>

O </b>also collaborated with <b>Trent Reznor</b> for “Immigrant Song” on <i>The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, “</i>Strange Love” on the
<i>Frankenweenie</i> soundtrack, and sang on songs with Santigold, Swans and David Lynch.
<b>Nick Zinner</b> curated, composed and led an orchestral work titled <i>41 Strings</i> both in NYC and the Sydney Opera House. The performance involved over 45 musicians. Hear a performance of

<b>Zinner </b>also contributed songwriting and production to Santigold’s album and had several shows of his acclaimed photography. Drummer
<b>Brian Chase</b> <span style="color:black">will be releasing an album of his solo project, Drums & Drones, on the Pogus Label in 2013. The album features electro-acoustic soundscapes based on the sonic properties of drums and percussion, and includes a DVD
with videos by NYC-based video artists Ursula Scherrer and Erik Zajaceskowski. Notable album releases/appearances by
<b>Chase </b>include the Chase/Misterka duo's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><u>The Shape of Sound</u></b>, Karlie Bruce's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><u>Paperback Lover</u></b>, Man Forever's<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><b><u>Pansophical
