London (April 19th)...Paloma Faith will be releasing an album in the U.S. for the very first time this summer! Following her UK-platinum-selling 2009 album Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? Paloma Faith will return with brand new album Fall To Grace. Fall To Grace was written and recorded in London over the past year and is produced by Nellee Hooper (Massive Attack, Björk, Madonna). Following the UK announcement of Fall To Grace, the album soared to the #1 spot on Amazon UK's 'Mover & Shakers' pre-sale chart in just 24 hours...just wait until audiences hear the music.

Paloma said: "The new album has taken on a very cinematic mood. Picking Up The Pieces is no exception. It deals with the issues of being in a relationship with someone who is still recovering from a previous relationship with another person. It is a song about self-doubt and insecurity." She adds, "I am very excited to introduce my new sound into the world. Working with Nellee Hooper has been really inspirational."

Nellee Hooper said: "I'd never really heard of Paloma Faith... Sony/RCA called me and suggested I meet her when I was next in London. At lunch she sat and talked in such detail, as if every song was a short film, referencing everything from Chinese romantic cinema to Hip Hop. [Meeting with Paloma] reminded me of my first meeting with Bjork... We just threw ourselves into the unknown... No idea or fear, just pure heart and adventure! I'm just so glad she asked to hold my hand and jump together!"

Born in Hackney, London, Paloma Faith is half Spanish and half British. As an ex magician's assistant, trained contemporary dancer, St Martin's alumni with an MA in theatre direction, a performer in burlesque shows, and an actress, Paloma has been mixing artistic media throughout her short adult life. A few years ago she introduced music, her primary love, into the equation, at first mimicking the blues and soul singers she so admired, but eventually finding her own voice. As a muse to many of the greatest fashion houses in Europe, most recently Dolce & Gabbana, Paloma's artistry transcends genre, making her one of the most curious and sought after creatures in the world of modern pop music.

·         Her platinum debut Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? stayed in the top 40 for over forty weeks in the UK and sold more than 500,000 copies.



·         Paloma's first jobs include being cut in half while working as magician's assistant, performing in burlesque shows, acting in films including a Terry Gilliam movie, and an assistant at Agent Provocateur. Previously Paloma trained as a contemporary dancer and is a St Martin's alumni with an MA in theatre direction.



·         Born in Hackney, Paloma Faith is half Spanish and half British. She draws on musical influences as diverse as Billie Holiday, Etta James, P J Harvey, and Edith Piaf.

·         Paloma performed "Forget You" with Cee-Lo Green at the 2011 Brit Awards, where she was nominated for British Female Solo Artist.



·         She has appeared on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Later with Jools Holland (several times), Hollyoaks Music Show, and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, among others.



·         The new album Fall To Grace is produced by Nellee Hooper (Björk, Massive Attack, Madonna) with co-production by Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran). The album also features guest production work from David Arnold (Independence Day, James Bond, The Chronicles of Narnia, Oceans 11) and Al Shuckburgh ("Empire State of Mind").



·         Paloma Faith is the artist-in-residence at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2012.
