Known for their attraction to chaos (the trio are becoming infamous for their over-running, set-list-free gigs, destroying organs mid-show and playing impromptu house parties wherever possible), Yak have teamed up with director Errol Rainey to make an epic ten-minute continuous video for two tracks “Smile” and “Distortion”. “Smile” sees the band hanging out at a Turnpike Lane Working Men’s Club, while “Distortion” finds them in a more lysergic mood…

Both “Smile” and “Distortion” are taken from Yak’s debut EP Plastic People, which is out this week via Fat Possum/Octopus Electrical.

Following their tour of UK with the country’s other most talked about new band, The Big Moon, Yak played a packed-out gig at The Great Escape this weekend followed by an impromptu house party show which had to be broken up by Brighton’s noise police.
