K.I.D. (Kids In Despair) premiered a special stripped back version of their song "I Wish I Was Your Cigarette," which is a gritty ode to the anguish of youth and unrequited love. PRESS HERE<http://www.earbuddy.net/59309/premiere-k-i-d-i-wish-i-was-your-cigarette-bare-bones-version.html/videos> to watch Toronto siblings Kara and Bobby perform the track, which premiered today via Earbuddy.  K.I.D. released their self-titled mixtape on April 20th.
After high school, Kara and Bobby were deemed unfit for higher education.  The two found themselves dwelling in their alcoholic mother’s basement and tracking demos they would later classify as “garage pop”. Their debut release features cuts  like “Bong Song” and "Stoned on the School Bus", a dreary ballad delivered from Kara and Bobby's melancholic perspective.
