SANTA MONICA, CA (June 3, 2013) - Southern California's beloved Twilight Concert Series will be kicking off of this year's free summer concerts at the Santa Monica Pier on July 11th. The ten-concert series, now in its 29th year, will feature an eclectic mix of emerging and established artists from around the world every Thursday night from 7 pm to 10 pm from July 11th through September 12th.
Los Angeles-based Rum & Humble<http://rumandhumble.com/> and Spaceland Presents<http://www.spaceland.tv/> have joined forces - marking the first year of Spaceland's involvement! - in order to give the Twilight Concert Series a fresh and innovative line up jam-packed with diverse genres from breakout bands, established acts, instrumentalists, singer-songwriters and local artists, including Rock, Neo-Soul, Punk, R&B, Jazz, Reggae, Electro-Pop and more!
In addition, The Twilight Concert Series is proud to announce this year's media partners - 89.9 FM KCRW and 98.7 FM L.A.'s Alternative. Craig Hoffman, Director of Partnerships & Development said of their involvement, "California's venerable local public radio station KCRW has been a longtime media partner of the Twilight Concert Series, and we're proud to welcome 98.7 FM as an additional media partner to this summer's series."
KCRW's Music Director and host of Morning Becomes Eclectic, Jason Bentley says, "This year's Twilight Concert Series is really outstanding, representing an eclectic range of exciting performers from different genres. This is the place to be all summer."
