(November 14, 2012) - Iconic rock musician Richie Sambora has announced that he will perform as the house band for The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson during the week of Monday, December 3rd, through Friday, December 7th, from 12:37-1:37 AM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network.  In addition to providing music at the beginning and end of each segment, Sambora will perform a variety of music from his solo career as well from Bon Jovi, including songs from his recently released solo album Aftermath of the Lowdown (Dangerbird Records). The Late Late Show announcement comes on the heels of Sambora's electrifying show in Los Angeles last night, November 13th. All ticket sale profits from the show are being donated to the American Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Fund to help with the hurricane relief effort.

Richie Sambora has performed for sold out audiences as the lead guitarist for legendary rock band Bon Jovi. He has sold over 130 million albums worldwide for both his albums with Bon Jovi and his solo career. Sambora's three-decade career with Bon Jovi includes 11 studio albums, three compilation albums, one live album, one Grammy Award (plus eight nominations) and an induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Previously, Sambora released two solo albums, Undiscovered Soul (1998) and Stranger In This Town (1991). His bandmates on Aftermath of the Lowdown,  include Aaron Sterling (drummer), Curt Schneider (bassist), Matt Rollings (piano), Rusty Anderson (guitar) and Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. (keyboard).


The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson regularly airs weeknights (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) following broadcasts of the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS.  The Late Late Show is executive produced by Peter Lassally and is a 2009 Peabody Award recipient.
