Promotional partnership kicks off with an in-store appearance in New York City TODAY with a chance for fans to meet the band



GRAMMY Award winning artist Maroon 5 will make a special in-store appearance TODAY Wednesday, June 27th at 7:00 P.M. at the Union Square Best Buy store in New York City to celebrate both the release of their new album Overexposed and the launch of the Xperia ion by Sony. A deluxe version of Overexposed is loaded into Xperia ions purchased exclusively at Best Buy for just $99 with a new two-year AT&T activation.



As an added bonus for fans in New York City, the first 50 people to purchase the Sony Xperia ion at the Union Square Best Buy store with a two-year activation will receive a wristband granting VIP access to the autograph signing as well as a free copy of Maroon 5’s new Overexposed deluxe edition CD. Fans can get in on the action beginning at 12:01 am on June 26th. In addition, the first 300 people to purchase Maroon 5’s new Overexposed deluxe edition CD and to check out Best Buy’s Upgrade Checker will receive a wristband giving them the opportunity to attend the in-store event at the Union Square Best Buy store.



Maroon 5 is excited to partner with Sony and Best Buy for this in-store appearance and the exclusive preload of their deluxe album on the Xperia ion, which includes music videos, album art and behind the scenes footage, so fans can take the album with them wherever they go.
