Ten Stories Out May 15th

mewithoutYou's fifth album Ten Stories is now available for pre-sale exclusively via the band's web site www.mewithoutyou.com<http://www.mewithoutyou.com>.  Every pre-sale order will come with an automatic free download of album track "Fox's Dream of the Log Flume," which features contributing vocals from Paramore's Haley Williams. This album is the band's first release on their own label Pine Street. It is set for release May 15th.

Pre-order options include a digital download, a CD, 150-gram colored vinyl LP and a Collector's Box Set, limited to only 1,000 copies. The CD and vinyl LP both come with the 12-page lyric booklet and feature 8 original paintings by Vasily Kafanov (who painted the album cover and artwork). The Collector's Box Set will ship in June and includes 180-gram double LP, a 28-page book featuring 11 original paintings by Kafanov, a CD with 2 bonus tracks and alternate album artwork by Kafanov and a 7" called "Other Stories" which features two B-side tracks from the album sessions, an 8-page lyric booklet with a foreword by drummer Rickie Mazzotta and two original paintings by Kafanov.

The song, much like the entire album, is a combination of the hard-hitting energy of the band's earlier years and their more recent ventures into melody.

With 10 years as a band under their belt, it is only fitting that mewithoutYou has managed to make their most expansive and dynamic album to date.  Ten Stories toys with the band's favorite themes of romantic disaster and quasi-mystical speculation, offering up a collection of allegorical songs about a circus train crash in 19th century Montana. Through the fable-like interactions of fictitious animals, the songs offer up deep ponderings about human character. Ten Stories is yet another gem for their catalogue.
