FESTIVAL TO BE HELD SEPTEMBER 23 AND 24 IN PHILADELPHIA'S FDR PARK
POPPED! Music Festival<http://poppedphiladelphia.com/> is thrilled to reveal their 2 Day comedy line-up curated by acclaimed comedian Seth Herzog. Seth will kick off Saturday with his own hysterical set and along with the likes of comedians Craig Baldo, Greg Barris, Chip Chantry and many more listed below.
On Friday POPPED!'s Tennis Stage will light up with comedy performances by Philly's Alex Grubard and John McKeever, America's Got Talent semi-finalist Doggie Horner, and Kurt Braunohler co-host of the cult NYC variety show Hot Tub. For Saturday Herzog, who you may recognize from his skits on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Chappelle's Show & Stella, as well a guest turn on 30 Rock, will set the comedic tone. Other sure-to-be-hilarious performances on Saturday include U.K. comedian Greg Barris, renowned comedian Craig Baldo and local act Chip Chantry.
In other POPPED! News,?uestlove and ?uest Loves Food is partnering with Philly Homegrown(r)  to debut the succulent  "The ? Drumstick" at POPPED! Music Festival's VIP Food Bazaar<http://poppedphiladelphia.com/food/>. POPPED! festival goers will be some of the first in the world to saver the delicious "The ? Drumstick" - locally sourced from Lancaster County farms and bursting with Creole flavoring. The fitting partnership ties in with Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation's (GPTMC) Philly Homegrown(r) initiative, promoting the people, places and flavors within Philadelphia's 100-mile food shed. Tthe proceeds from "The ? Drumstick" will benefit The Food Trust, a Philadelphia nonprofit that conducts nutrition education classes for inner-city children, and helps to develop and provide stable sources of affordable, healthy foods.
The POPPED! Music Festival is a 2-day outdoor destination festival on the lush grounds of FDR Park showcasing intriguing and diverse artists on three stages of live music, DJ's, and stand-up comedy. Produced by Electric Factory, in conjunction with Alexis Rosenzweig of POPPED! Festival, Inc., POPPED! Music Festival is a testament to showcasing Philadelphia as a prime destination for live music, showcasing performances this year by The Shins, Pretty Lights, Girl Talk and more.
