On Consequence Of Sound’s Cluster 1
The Duo Announces a Mini 2011 Tour

Fresh on the scene are Secret Music<http://www.secretmusicband.com/>’s Chase Nicholl and Daniel Fry, who recently released their infectious single “T.O.Y.S.”(Black Bell Records). Today the “T.O.Y.S” video, a blast-from-the-past, television clip mash-up premieres on Consequence Of Sound’s Cluster 1.

The vibrant video was directed by TV CARNAGE, whose library of hundreds of hours of bad TV over the past 25 years has turned into an intriguing, humorous assortment of clips for the music video. Between the outrageous fight scenes on Jerry Springer, sweaty, energetic aerobic videos of the 80s, Uncle Jesse’s mullet from Full House, and more, TV CARNAGE has created a montage that will nostalgically transport the viewer back a decade or two and naturally complements the song’s get-up-and-go lyrics.

“T.O.Y.S,” which was produced by Passion Pit’s synthmaster Ayad Al Adhamy, captures the listener with its heart pounding synth melody that cascades into exhilarating guitar riffs. The track provokes an impulse to get into a car, race down a highway, and meet up with friends at a chaotic house-party.
Additionally, Secret Music has announced the dates for their mini East Coast Tour, which will kick off November 10th at Brooklyn’s Glasslands Gallery. The band, who played a few thrilling CMJ 2011 showcases, will be sharing the stage with  Bosco Delrey, Cookies, Yale MA, Candy Hearts, Hot Rod Circuit, Cartel and Smoke Signals along the way.
