Jenny And Johnny Hit The Road For Second Leg Of Spring Tour!

 

  

 

For those of you who haven't heard - Jenny Lewis and Jonathan Rice
banded together last August and released I'm Having Fun Now (Warner
Bros.). The album is rife with essential tracks for every self
respecting summer mix tape.  The Rilo Kiley front-woman and the solo
artist troubadour have been collaborating on and off for years, each
contributing to the other's solo records and live shows, but with this
record they had a different intention: using their two voices in close
harmony and playing practically every instrument themselves.  The result
is an eleven song thirty-five minute blast of whip-smart rock and roll.


 

Jenny And Johnny have spent the last year traversing the states,
crossing the pond and heading down under in a whirlwind international
tour. From Laneway to Coachella, Sasquatch to Glastonbury, from Conan to
Kimmel, the two J's are making the rounds, spreading their slew of
up-beat choruses, refrains wrought with worldly cynicism and harmonious
discord. The band is excited to begin the second leg of their spring
2011 tour where they will not only play headlining gigs, but lend
support to comrades Bright Eyes and Death Cab For Cutie as well. See
