Fast-rising Sacramento-based rock duo Middle Class Rut have released the video for their track, "Busy Bein' Born," premiering exclusively via MTV2 TODAY. This is the second single from their widely praised debut album, No Name No Color (Bright Antenna/ Independent Label Group) and follows their breakthrough hit "New Low," which reached #5 at Alternative Rock Radio. MC Rut has been eagerly embraced by rock fans and the press for their stunning debut, which artfully blurs the line between heavy and melodic with raw, energized rock and roll.  No Name No Color earned them the title of "2011 Artist to Watch" by MTV, who declared it "an accomplished full-length full of Led Zeppelin-like dirges and socio-politically charged anthems."   Similarly, they were featured by USA Today in their coveted "On the Verge" piece and MySpace and Fuse chose the band for their selective "Introducing..." monthly program. Fresh off the heels of their European arena tour with Linkin Park, MC Rut will also be hitting the road for three weeks of dates with the Vans Warped Tour this summer beginning on July 21 in Camden, NJ. This band is no overnight sensation. The duo, Zack Lopez (vocals, guitar) and Sean Stockham (drums), have been playing together since they were teenagers. The pair records every song they write together almost immediately upon coming up with the idea in their rehearsal space, capturing the instantaneous spirit of a track while still in the moment. They've toured with a range of artists, including Linkin Park, Social Distortion, Alice in Chains, Them Crooked Vultures, The Bronx and ...Trail Of Dead and their track "Lifelong Dayshift" is being featured on the exclusive GameStop release of the Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack!
