Parachute Kicks Off U.S. Summer Tour with Goo Goo Dolls & Michelle Branch Today, July 7th!

[Description: 15-19_re_sm]Parachute is set to kick off their U.S. summer tour with Goo Goo Dolls and Michelle Branch today, July 7th in Muskegon, MI, at Heritage Landing. On the road through August 27th, when the tour wraps up at LA's Greek Theatre, the band will be performing the new songs from their recently released sophomore album The Way It Was (Mercury Records). Featuring the irresistible Top 15 smash hit "Something To Believe In" - which Billboard called "a surefire hit" - the album climbed to #1 on the iTunes Rock Albums Chart and debuted in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200.

It's been a whirlwind summer so far for Parachute and they are still gliding high. After knock-out performances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Parachute is slated to perform during The 2011 ESPYs Countdown Show on July 13th. Beginning at 6p.m. ET, tune into ESPN/ ESPN HD to catch Parachute on the outdoor stage at LA's Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.
