recording artists Maroon 5 have announced they will be ringing in the
new year with a performance at The Pearl at The Palms Casino in Las
Vegas, NV. Jason Segel will be the night's special guest and is set to
open the show performing crowd favorites like "Dracula's Lament" from
Forgetting Sarah Marshall , as well as other Segel original music.

Kicking off their 'Back To School' tour earlier this month in Murray,
KY, Maroon 5 is currently on the last leg of their college tour, hitting
4 more cities before wrapping at Wichita State University. Before
setting out on the road, Maroon 5 teamed up with Reverb (www.reverb.org)
to "green up" the tour by hosting recycling containers, non toxic
cleaners and biodegradable catering products to lessen their carbon
footprints. The band has also got involved with local food banks
inviting students to donate food at each show. =20
In addition to their 'Back To School' tour, Maroon 5 is preparing for
the new album, which is set to release Spring of 2010. Earlier this year
the band announced that they have entered the studio with legendary
producer Robert John "Mutt" Lange to record the follow-up to It Won't be

quintessential pop-rock producer has produced blockbuster albums for
