Lowry release Love Is Dead today on NYC indie Engine Room Recordings. =
Lowry has existed in many forms over the years, but lead singer Alex =
Lowry has never shifted focus. He crafts songs that cut straight to the =
heart and mind. While the album's title paints a bleak picture the disc =
is really more of a cathartic celebration. The title track, the =
haunting "Face Behind Your Hands," is a song about the failure of a =
relationship and how a child interrupted the connection between two =
lovers. There is a truth, painfully exposed in this song, as it =
recounts an especially real time in the singer's life which, with the =
help of this song, he has succeeded in putting behind him. =20
