July 24th Boston, MA - Bang Camaro, hailed by MTV, Blender, Rolling
Stone, Spin, and Billboard as one of the "Top Buzz Bands of the Year"
are keeping very busy this summer. The band is gearing up for a new
release, a U.S. tour and "Camaro Thursdays"; the release of new music
every other Thursday in August through to October to be unleashed
online. The first single "Night Lies" from the forthcoming record is
also featured in the hotly anticipated Rock Band II video game. Bang
Camaro has also been featured in other popular video games including
Guitar Hero II and Rock Band as well as Phase and Titan Quest.

Formed by Alex Necochea and Bryn Bennett, the philosophy behind Bang
Camaro was to focus on the big anthemic choruses and screaming guitar
solos reminiscent of 80's era metal. What brings the band into the new
millennium is the decision to ditch the overdubs and create their huge
vocals and distinct harmonies using a choir of 10-20 singers. The end
result is just that: big and bombastic whether in the studio or the live
show which has been described as "Headbanger's Ball meets the Polyphonic
Spree" by their hometown paper The Boston Phoenix.=20

Alex Necochea says of the upcoming release: "This time around our
material is darker and more honest. I think this comes from spending a
year together out on the road, experiencing the country, and learning
more about the music industry. Everything is in such a state of change
right now, and I think our involvement with video games has given us a
bit of an edge. It's like we're barbarians conquering Rome, but instead
of wealth and glory when we've finished, we just head back to a hotel
room with 15 other dudes."

Bang Camaro will be hitting the road this fall in support of the new
record and prior to that they will play at Lollapalooza on August 1st
kicking off the MySpace stage. Bang Camaro will continue their tradition
of recruiting singers from across the nation to join their choir. For
