music from New York City's most exciting and dynamic new bands. After launching on June 14th, <b>54/10</b> put the spotlight on an incredible line-up that featured a dizzying number of musical styles. Live sets spanned jazz rock to piano pop to orchestral
space rock to experimental pop, and the last set of the marathon, performed by 11-piece Afrobeat band <b>EMEFE</b>, resulted in a full-on dance party as drums, bongos, a sax, a trumpet, and a flute wailed late into the hazy summer night; a fitting end to <b>54/10</b>.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
