[SAMSAYA - LR]Scandinavian musician Samsaya is performing at Brooklyn Bowl tonight for FREE at 10:30pm.  Samsaya, who was born in India and raised in Norway, released her self-titled EP last week which mixes pop, dance, hip-hop, funk and soul with traditional Indian sounds.  Her club-ready tunes are influenced by everyone from Mary J. Blige, TLC and Outkast to renowned Indian singer Asha Bhosle. Richie Sambora will be performing 3 NYC shows in honor of his friend, the great Les Paul on July 22 and 23 at The Iridium (famed "Home of Les Paul"); raising awareness and funds for the Les Paul Foundation.  No one is better suited to pay homage in this way than Richie Sambora, who was an extremely close friend of Les Paul, and its sure to add a deeply personal touch to these special shows. The foundation was formed as a means to encourage young people to pursue their curiosity and innovation about music, sound and engineering. Recent grants from the Les Paul Foundation include funding to multiple music education programs and to museums that tell the Les Paul story. These performances will be taped for Public Television's Front and Center, to air this fall. They are sure to be incredible; showcasing rock 'n' roll at its finest and celebrating the pioneering legend that gave us the modern electric guitar sound - and bringing attention to a tremendous cause and organization. [Devin Ainslee - 6 - LR]UK sibling duo DRENGE are performing on Friday, July 25th at Mercury Lounge and on Saturday at Rough Trade.  The 2013 NME Awards 'Best New Band' will release their self-titled album this week in the US on July 21st via Infectious Music/ADA.  Hailing from a tiny rural village named Hope in the North of England, the Loveless brothers, Eoin - pronounced Owen - (Guitar and vocals) 23, and Rory (Drums), 21, grew up making a fantastic racket on guitar and drums.  Drenge have blazed a path around the British live circuit, picking up a slew of new fans with every sweaty show. Now recognized as one of the country's most dynamic live acts the Loveless brothers have performed at Europe's largest festivals.
