The hotly tipped Scottish band will be making two stops in NYC in between dates opening for Franz Ferdinand on the east coast. The dynamic band have already caught the attention of the US media despite never having set foot in America. Billboard called their first UK EP release “a careful balance between pretty melodies and dark lyrical anxieties, with jagged, angular rhythms surely influenced by the Fall.” NYLON Guys praised their “Postcard-influenced strain of post-punk,” and back home in the UK The Guardian noted that they “they might be the best Scottish indie band since Franz Ferdinand.” PRESS HERE<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USAzPEq-JSU> to check out the video for their debut single “Stroh 80.” CMJ show details to follow.
