Brooklyn's own crush distance premiered their brand new track, "kerosene," on Ladygunn.com<http://ladygunn.com/music/song-premiere-crush-distance-kerosene>. The band, who was recently handpicked by Bauhaus' Peter Murphy to open on select dates, will be playing a very special NYC show on Thursday, May 16th at The Studio @ Webster Hall in support of their latest release.



The new track has an incredible story and played a significant role in the making of what is now crush distance. Three-fourths of the band created a vocal-less demo and put an ad up on Craigslist. They got a ton of submissions - terrible ones at that - and eventually got one from Collin Cable, who sent back what would become the final melody and lyrics used in the song "kerosene." The band then insisted that Collin, who was based in Texas, move to Brooklyn!
