PJ Morton Set to Perform at BET Music Matters Showcase

PJ Morton will perform at the BET Music Matters Showcase on December 11, 2012 at S.O.B.'s in New York City. Doors open at 7:30pm ET and PJ will take the stage at 9:15p.m. ET. Admission to the show is free and anyone attending is encouraged to arrive by the start of the show at 8pm ET. The evening will also feature performances by Jennah Bell, Jessy Wilson, Kevin Ross, Mali Music and Stacy Barthe.

PJ, who is signed to Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment as a solo artist, is also Maroon 5's keyboardist and a Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter (India Arie, Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J, Jagged Edge, Monica and Musiq Soulchild.) In early 2012, PJ released his Following My First Mind EP, an acclaimed collection of soulful pop tracks featuring guest spots from Adam Levine, Lil Wayne and Jazmine Sullivan. It was praised by the likes of Vibe, Interview, Essence, and YRB  and even garnered PJ a spot sitting in with The Roots on  Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He is currently readying his forthcoming debut full-length album which will be released in 2013.
