[BG49c34-R01-008-lr.JPG]Parachute kicks off their Fall North American tour today and will make a stop in NYC Wednesday October 12th for a show at the Highline Ballroom. The tour, a co-headlining run of dates with Kate Voegele, comes after a whirlwind summer for the band. Their sophomore album The Way It Was (out now on Mercury Records) hit #1 on the iTunes Rock Chart and debuted in the Billboard Top 20. Lead single "Something To Believe In" was recently a Top 15 radio hit at Hot AC and new single "Kiss Me Slowly," co-written with Grammy-winners Lady Antebellum, is heating up at radio. It already hit the #1 spot on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart.
They were on tour all summer with the Goo Goo Dolls & Michelle Branch, and played The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The ESPYs Pre-Show on ESPN. The band has toured with Kelly Clarkson, Goo Goo Dolls, Plain White Ts, The Script and more.
