He will be playing a special showcase on November 16th at the Converse Rubber Tracks Studio in Brooklyn. Shinn, previous frontman of Unified Theory (the supergroup made up of Shinn, Brad Smith and Christopher Thorn, previously of Blind Melon, and Dave Krusen, previously of Pearl Jam), has created a powerful, captivating collection that is both heart-wrenchingly beautiful and unflinchingly bold. With his striking vocals and passionate songwriting, Chris Shinn delivers an eclectic album pulling from elements of rock, country, jazz and blues. Shinn's debut is an emotional album that grabs you by the shoulders, plants you square in your seat, and holds you there, blissfully, through the record's entirety. Katie Herzig-November 15th- The Rock Shop
[Red dress LR]Nashville native Katie Herzig is coming to Brooklyn November 15th to perform at The Rock Shop. The date is part of her almost 30 city national tour which kicked off earlier this fall. LOS CAMPESINOS! * Wed., November 16th @ Bowery Ballroom & Thurs., November 17th @ Music Hall of Williamsburg

They will be kicking things off on November 16th at Bowery Ballroom, followed by a performance on November 17th at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg. Live, Los Campesinos! are larger-than-life, oozing in punk rock energy. They know how to make the crowd jump with their massive sound and Gareth's kicking while dramatically slapping a glockenspiel. MR. DREAM * Sunday, November 20th @ Mercury Lounge
[MRDREAM-Rob-Dubbin-foremail]Brooklyn rock band Mr. Dream will be wrapping up their tour with indie-rock supergroup Mister Heavenly, on November 20th at Mercury Lounge. Mr. Dream, who has been compared to the Pixies, Nirvana and The Jesus Lizard, received stunning marks across the board including praise from Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and Stereogum for their killer debut Trash Hit, which was released earlier this year. Since then, they have played shows with LCD Soundsystem, Sleigh Bells, and the legendary Archers of Loaf, performed at the Village Voice's 4Knots Music Festival this past July, and even played a handful of CMJ shows. Late in the summer, the band released their back-to-school single "Moneybags", a dancey B-52s-inspired rocker that quickly became an internet favorite.
