New York, NY - May 24, 2011 - Grammy Nominated singer/songwriter Miguel will be boarding the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus on Thursday, May 26th for a special student recording session at the New Design High School in New York City. Brought to the school by sponsor Montblanc, The Lennon Bus will give New Design High School students the opportunity to write and record an original song and produce their own music video in their state-of-the-art studio on wheels. Miguel, whose single "Sure Thing" is currently the #1 song on Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop chart, will help show the select group of students the ropes in the studio. An accomplished songwriter who has written for artists such as Mary J. Blige and Usher, Miguel's highly praised debut album All I Want Is You is out now on ByStorm/Jive Records. Miguel will follow in the footsteps of beloved artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, and Justin Timberlake, who have all participated in programming on the Lennon Bus. Additionally, Brian Rothschild, the Executive Director of the Lennon Bus and Jan-Patrick Schmitz, President and CEO of Montblanc, will be on site and available for interviews.
