Portland, OR collective AgesandAges are currently on tour for their
stunning first release, Alright You Restless (out now on Knitting
Factory Records).  The group will be playing two shows in NYC this week:
FRI, 4/29 @ Knitting Factory,  and SAT, 4/30 @ Mercury Lounge.  The
album's infectious pop songs and huge, sing-along choruses are filled
with lyrical references to voluntary seclusion, communal living and an
existence under the radar, all the while extending an invitation to join
their fold.  AgesandAges' charming indie folk/pop sensibility and
dynamic live shows, with all 7 members raising their voices in unity,
