[Gruff - Low Res]Former Super Furry Animals’ frontman GRUFF RHYS is performing two unique solo shows this week in support of his critically lauded American Interior project. TONIGHT Gruff will host a FREE acoustic show at Stories<http://storiesla.com/> at 7pm.  On Thursday – he will bring his unique storytelling performance to The Echo. As well as the live performances Gruff will be screening the documentary film on Thursday, November 20th at the Echo Park Film Center<https://www.facebook.com/events/1499704750277680/> at 8pm. American Interior is Gruff’s multimedia exploration into what became of his relative John Evans<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Evans_(explorer)>, an 18th century Welsh explorer who created an early map of the Missouri river later used as a template by Lewis and Clark. Gruff released the album American Interior last week and is also releasing a corresponding book, <http://american-interior.com/film/> a documentary film<http://american-interior.com/film/> <http://american-interior.com/film/> and an app<http://youtu.be/FKJLpkkipe0>.  The special performances will feature music + visual story-telling as Gruff reports his "investigative concert tour" following in the footsteps of John Evans.
