International rising star and stunning solo performer, Bernhoft will play his retro-soul single “Come Around” for two U.S. TV appearances this month. Tomorrow morning (June 3rd) Bernhoft will make his debut on Vh1 Big Morning Buzz, which will be followed up with a captivating performance on CONAN come Tuesday, June 17th. “Come Around” is from Bernhoft’s forthcoming album Islander (out June 23rd via Big Picnic Records).

The Norwegian’s newest collection was inspired by Swedish pop, the trailblazing soul of Stevie Wonder and Sly Stone, and the intricate folk-rock of Carole King. Recorded in England’s Isle of Wight, the LP features a guest appearance from GRAMMY award-winning singer Jill Scott and was produced by Paul Butler (Michael Kiwanuka and Devendra Banhart).

In support of Islander, Bernhoft will take his raved about one-man-band performance on the road, headlining two shows in the States - Los Angeles’ The Troubadour on Monday, June 16th and NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on Tuesday, June 24th. Bernhoft will then fly to the UK to give 3 special performances during Glastonbury 2014 (June 25th-29th). This Fall Bernhoft will play for the first time ever Austin City Limits, which will take place over two weekends in October.  All tour dates listed below.
