January 8th, 2014-- London's brightest new female talent, Laurel will make her US live debut with two special performances in Los Angeles - 1/27 at Bardot and 1/29 at Troubadour. When Laurel reveals her vocal prowess, songwriting skills and production chops, it's hard to believe that she is only nineteen and creates it all on her own. With cinematic songs hinged on seductive, sultry vocals, Laurel's haunting blend of piano, beats and strings are enchanting.  The singer, songwriter and producer hails from a tiny town somewhere between Southampton and Portsmouth in the UK, and has been writing, producing and performing her own original material since age 14. Following the completion of her college exams, Laurel moved to London and inked a deal with Turn First Records (Dan Croll, Iggy Azalea) off the strength of a song demo. Laurel caused quite a stir after posting her arresting track "Blue Blood," which sent blogs into a frenzy, hit no.3 on Hype Machine and has amassed over 100,000 soundcloud plays- a promising start.  She's currently penning and producing her first full length album, and we cannot wait to hear more.
