Los Angeles, CA (August 29, 2013) - The 29th Annual Twilight Concert Series has continued to bring out massive crowds of 12,000+ attendees to the Santa Monica Pier all summer long, and will continue this week with New Orleans' Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, on August 29th at 7pm with Dustbowl Revival as support. This week Myspace will host a .gif photo booth at the pier that will be open to all concert attendees (on a first come, first served basis.)

Troy 'Trombone Shorty' Andrews has God-given talent, natural charisma and a relentless drive to bridge music's past and future. He has drawn both the unqualified respect of jazz legends and delivers a high-energy rock show capable of mesmerizing international rock stars and audiences alike. His third outing for Verve Records, Say That To Say This (Sept. 10), sounds like nothing else out there, as Andrews and his longtime band, Orleans Avenue-guitarist Pete Murano, bassist Mike Ballard and drummer Joey Peebles-continue their natural musical evolution.

Venice, CA's own roots and jazz collective, Dustbowl Revival merges New Orleans swing and brass band traditions with bluegrass, jug-band,gospel and swamp-bloes. Known for throwing speakeasy parties from Anchorage to New York the Dustbowl Revival often features up to ten instruments ranging from fiddle, banjo, mandolin and accordion to tuba, trombone, trumpet and clarinet, with plenty of kazoo and washboard for good luck.

The Twilight Concert Series has showcased astounding performers throughout the 2013 festival.
