KITTEN * Monday, September 17th & 24th * Bootleg Bar

[KITTEN_Flyer_Bootleg Bar_All Dates & Lineup-for email]LA-based indie rockers Kitten - who released their highly-anticipated EP, Cut It Out via Atlantic Records last month - have been getting rave reviews for their FREE Monday night, September residency dates at the Bootleg Bar. The band, featuring 17 yr-old Chloe Chaidez, earned high praise for 2010’s independently released debut EP, Sunday School, as well as for their exhilarating live show --- which landed them dates with Paramore and Charli XCX this summer. Cut It Out is a frenzied but melodic blend of danceable pop with a touch of raw post-punk and 80s new wave; it’s filled with irresistible melodies, incessant hooks, and Chaidez’s provocative lyricism. You do not want to miss out!

Praise for KITTEN

"[Kitten lead-singer Chloe] Chaidez has a raw power and believability as a performer. You can't quite take your eyes off her for fear of missing something. I felt an honest chill of discovery...” -<http://-SPIN.com/>SPIN.com<http://-SPIN.com/>

“[Kitten] put on a show that can best be described as Karen O-Meets-The Blur-From-Smallville. Jumping off the drum set, climbing the rafters, playfully punching Chris Vogel on bass, writhing on the floor... Chaidez barely stopped moving besides one small break to catch her breath and another to douse some water on herself.” -Brooklyn Vegan

“Combine Karen O’s punk edge, Debbie Harry’s cool sexuality, and Robyn’s uninhibited dancing, and you have Kitten frontwoman Chloe Chaidez…the music was delivered so flawlessly, it was hard to believe the band was playing live…you HAVE to see them live.” –LA Music Blog

“Chaidez's performance will pull you in instantly…Kitten had me dizzy on my feet from start to finish. “ –ArjanWrites.com<http://ArjanWrites.com>

Paloma Faith * September 19th * Hotel Café

[Paloma 1 - Rebecca Pierce.jpg]Paloma Faith is performing on Wednesday, September 19th at Hotel Café as part of her first ever U.S. tour. Faith is touring in support of her new album Fall To Grace, which will be her first US release when it is out November 27th via Epic Records. First single “Picking Up The Pieces,” which went top 10 across the pond, is out on iTunes now<http://bit.ly/OWJc8u>.

With Jon Pareles of the New York Times praising her live show as she “worked the small stage thoroughly, whether she was singing a ballad with the wrist-curling gestures of a cabaret chanteuse or climbing atop the piano to dance” and The Telegraph calling her performances “faultless,” it is a show not to be missed!
