Gotye kicked off his SOLD OUT Spring US tour last week to a thunderous roar. The Washington Post said, "his 9:30 show was a tutorial on four decades of pop music," and the Philadelphia Inquirer said, "To compel his receptive audience, he needed only his fine tenor voice backed by crafty sampling and his sympathetic five-piece band. (The colorful, track-specific animations shown also deserve mention.) Gotye's songs are simply that good."

As previously announced, Gotye will make his Saturday Night Live debut as the musical guest on Saturday, April 14th, airing on NBC at 11:30 PM EST. The show will be hosted by Academy Award-nominee Josh Brolin.

This special TV appearance has caused two changes to the original tour dates. Firstly, the show at The Independent in San Francisco, CA on April 12 has been moved to a bigger venue and rescheduled. You can now see Gotye at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Wednesday, April 18. Tickets for the original date will be honored at the door. The general public can buy tickets on Friday, March 30. Please note that Kimbra will now not be performing at this show due to pre-existing European commitments however joining Gotye as special guest for this date will be fellow Australian singer/songwriter, Missy Higgins.

Also Gotye's show at The Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR on April 11 has been rescheduled to Monday, April 9. Tickets for the original date will be honored at the door. Kimbra will still appear at this show. Full refunds will be available for those unable to attend the rescheduled shows.

Last but not least, one extra show has just been added to Gotye's North American tour. On April 19, he will perform in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre - L.A Live. Missy Higgins will be special guest on this date - previewing material from a new album she's planning to release over summer. Tickets for this L.A. show will go onsale to the general public on Friday, March 30.

Gotye first caught American ears with platinum-certified single "Somebody That I Used To Know" which has been in the Billboard Hot 100 for 10 weeks, racked up over 119 million views on YouTube. The song currently holds a spot in the iTunes Top 5 and the Billboard Top 10 and has been #1 on the alternative radio airplay chart for the last 6 weeks. Making Mirrors is the first album by an Australian based artist to make the U.S. top 10 this century, entering at #9 on this week's Billboard chart.

Praise for Making Mirrors:
"Making Mirrors finds Gotye making the most of a canny notion: that the pop sounds of the '80s didn't fall out of fashion so much as fall victim to dated production. By freshening up the feel but maintaining the drama, he lands on a batch of songs timeless enough to survive the next 30 years." -NPR

"...Ingenious, oddly touching, refreshingly emphatic bedroom pop." -Rolling Stone
"...pop magician."-The New Yorker

"...The songs have a way of warping old ideas into something fascinating."- LA Times
