Kyle McNeill & the Stumble * TONIGHT! Thursday, June 28 * El Cid, 10 pm

LA’s own Kyle McNeill & the Stumble will be playing a very special hometown show tonight, Thursday June 28th, at El Cid in Silverlake. The trio of Kyle McNeill (vocals/guitar), Lewis Pullman (drums), and Jason Hiller (bass), will release their debut EP August 7th and a full-length later this year. Taking cues from Americana, jazz, rock n roll, and the blues, the band’s songs showcase the 18-year-old Kyle’s depth and maturity as a songwriter. Interview Magazine recently named first single “Killing You Didn’t Work” Track of the Week<http://www.interviewmagazine.com/music/exclusive-song-premiere-killing-you-didnt-work-kyle-mcneill/#_> and described the EP as, "five earnest, but still raw, Black Keys-reminiscent songs about love lost and getting into trouble." BRIT Award winner singer, songwriter and guitarist Laura Marling is headlining the John Anson Ford Theatre on Sunday, July 1st. Laura, released her third album A Creature I Don’t Know last fall and has garnered the most enthusiastic reviews of her already impressive career.  Laura won the coveted title of "Best British Female Artist" at last year's Brit Awards (UK's Grammy equivalent) shortly before her 21st birthday.
