[Desaparecidos- photo by Zach Hollowell (2).JPG]Tonight, Conor Oberst and his band, Desaparecidos, will be playing to a *sold out* crowd at LA’s Troubadour as well as rocking the Main Stage at FYF Fest on Sunday. The Omaha-based band last toured together in 2002 in support of their debut album Read Music/Speak Spanish, which was universally lauded by critics.  Recently Desaparecidos released two brand new tracks “MariKKKopa” and “Backsell”, their first in over 10 years.

[KITTEN_Flyer_Bootleg Bar_All Dates & Lineup-for email]LA-based indie rockers Kitten, who released their highly-anticipated EP, Cut It Out via Atlantic Records this week, will be playing a FREE show on Monday, September 3rd at the Bootleg Bar with Sky Ferreira – night one of their month long residency. The band, featuring 17 yr-old Chloe Chaidez, earned high praise for 2010’s independently released debut EP, Sunday School, as well as for their exhilarating live show --- which recently landed them dates with Paramore and Charli XCX. Cut It Out is a frenzied but melodic blend of danceable pop with a touch of raw post-punk and 80s new wave; it’s filled with irresistible melodies, incessant hooks, and Chaidez’s provocative lyricism. You do not want to miss out!
