BLONDIE * October 5th @ Club Nokia

[DebbieHarry-JennyHands-email.JPG]Blondie will make a stop in LA on October 5th for a show at Club Nokia, part of their Fall North American tour. Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein, along with newer band members Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen, are on the road playing their incredible new songs and biggest hits from their storied four-decade career. With a Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame induction in 2006 and more than 40 million albums sold worldwide, Blondie is back with their recently released critically acclaimed 9th studio album Panic of Girls, out now exclusively via Amazon. Colored with inspirations from NYC's roiling melting pot and street-level pop culture, the album has received praise from the likes of the New York Times, Harper's Bazaar, USA Today, Elle, Marie Claire, Entertainment Weekly, People and New York Post. Blondie kicked off the release with a performance of single "Mother" on TODAY<http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/36606816/vp/44486925/#44486925> and will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on October 6th. linda at pressherepublicity.com<mailto:linda at pressherepublicity.com>/gina at pressherepublicity.com<mailto:gina at pressherepublicity.com> / carla at pressherepublicity.com<mailto:carla at pressherepublicity.com>

"...these new wavers slip right back into the groove...Debbie Harry remains one of the coolest chicks on the planet." - People (3 stars)
"For me, you are THE most legendary woman in rock." - Lady Gaga interviewing Debbie Harry in the September 2011 issue of Harper's Bazaar
"Harry, Stein and others tapped into a rich alchemical vein during those years in the Bowery lab. They located pop's sacred ground, the eternal now, and have remained there against all ravages of time. Maybe this is Blondie's genius." - New York Magazine
"...a club-hopping mix of guitars and dance grooves." - Marie Claire

LANIE LANE * Tuesday, October 4th @ The Mint
                      * Wednesday, October 5th @ Silverlake Lounge

[LanieLane.DeanChaulkey.JPG]Australian songstress Lanie Lanie (pronounced "Lannie") is coming to the U.S. for select shows, including two shows in Los Angeles. Don't miss your chance to catch a sneak peek of this incredible up and coming talent who is sure to make a big splash in 2012. Lanie Lane just released a single on her Jack White produced 7" inch single on Third Man Records which includes the fuzz bass stomp of "Ain't Hungry" (fuzz bass handled expertly by White himself) and a wailing waltzing lament to withheld love, "My Man." Check out the video for "Ain't Hungry" here<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDAKk3GfXxo>. Adding sass to the smoky, sultry sounds of a bygone era, Lanie Lane is an undeniable talent who draws on the past and plants it very firmly in the here and now. Imbued with the spirit of Muddy Waters, and channeling the grit of Billie Holiday, Lanie Lane wraps the sounds of a golden age around a voice that is as rich and warm as it is sweet. Cramming as much touring, recording and general musical activity as possible into the first few months of 2011, Lanie completed a national Australian tour throughout March supporting Justin Townes Earle and jumped on the big silver bird in May to play her very first shows in LA, New York and London to overwhelmingly enthusiastic crowds. Soon after she released the smoky single "What Do I Do"<http://lanielane.net/music/> worldwide, and promptly hit the road with Fitz & The Tantrums as well as played a stirring set at the Splendour in the Grass festival. After these select U.S. dates, Lanie Lane will return to Oz to put the finishing touches on her debut record, to be released in 2012.
