MIDDLE CLASS RUT * Thursday, November 3rd @ The Music Box
Sacramento-based rock duo, Middle Class Rut, will be performing at The Music Box on Thursday, November 3rd supporting AWOLNATION. You can also catch them in Bakersfield TONIGHT at B Ryders. Middle Class Rut are touring in support of their debut album, No Name No Color, which spawned the smash radio hit "New Low" reaching No. 5 at Alternative Radio. Their current single, "Busy Bein' Born" has been climbing the charts and is now officially in the Top 25 at radio. Amanda Warner, better known as MNDR, will be hitting the stage on Thursday, November 3 at Avalon. She blends a well-honed musical background with in-depth midi programming, sound design, and analogue synthesis skills, wiring up her machines to concoct an incredibly danceable electronic pop sound. PARACHUTE * November 5th @ El Rey Theatre
Parachute is currently on their Fall North American tour and will make a stop in LA Saturday November 5th for a show at the El Rey Theatre. The tour, a co-headlining run of dates with Kate Voegele, comes on the heels of a whirlwind summer for the band. Their sophomore album The Way It Was (out now on Mercury Records) hit #1 on the iTunes Rock Chart and debuted in the Billboard Top 20. It also spawned the smash hit "Something To Believe In" and current single "Kiss Me Slowly," co-written with Grammy-winners Lady Antebellum. The song is heating up at radio right now and already hit the #1 spot on the iTunes Rock Songs Chart. Parachute toured all summer with the Goo Goo Dolls and appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The ESPYs Pre-Show on ESPN.
