Hey LA!
We've got a couple of great shows coming up for you this week! Let us
know if you wanna check these bands out!
Deluka * Tuesday, March 22nd @ The Viper Room (7:30pm)
After a whirlwind SXSW that included opening for Snoop Dogg at the Pepsi
Max Lot, Birmingham UK/Brooklyn NY band Deluka are in Los Angeles for a
show at the Viper Room! The band, who have been touring in support of
their brilliant debut album You Are The Night, took home the Pepsi
Max/Grooveshark fan favorite grand prize at SXSW, which was opening for
Snoop Dogg at Saturday night's show. Playing guitar-driven dance music
that has been packing venues across the country, Deluka's music can be
heard in current add campaigns for both VH1 and GM. They just debuted
their new single, "OMFG" which is climbing the alternative charts.

MEN (Featuring JD Samson)
March 26th @ Echoplex
The Brooklyn-based band MEN (Featuring JD Samson), will be playing Los
Angeles this SATURDAY March 26th, 2011 at Echoplex. The band is touring
behind their provocative debut album Talk About Body, which is loaded
with political topics and their postmodern take on queer lifestyle
politics. MEN shows are known for their high energy, combining politics
with dance parties, and art with activism. The band treats each show as
an art project, sometimes asking local artists to paint a backdrop while
they perform. These wild performances landed them tours opening for The
Gossip and Peaches in America, as well as doing their own headlining
runs in the U.S. and overseas. You never know what's going to happen-so
don't miss out on this experience!
Praise for Talk About Body:
"Their lyrics dance merrily over the music, which itself bops along in
fine electro-dance fashion." -New York Daily News
"pretty remarkable as a political and musical polemic." - New York
Times
"Talk About Body mixes dance with politics and the results are
completely irresistible." - Under The Radar
