Los Angeles, CA- August, 11, 2011--This Saturday, Los Angeles's famed film event series, Cinespia is showing movies from dusk till dawn at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.  They'll screen the D.A. Pennebaker directed 'Monterey Pop' and 'Jimi Hendrix- A Documentary' as well as rare concert footage, psychedelic animation, short docs and other ephemera of the 60's/70s until the sun rises on Sunday morning.

Harper Simon, songwriter, musician, and long-time friend of director Gary Weis, will be moderating a Q&A panel immediately following 'Monterey Pop.'  The Panel will include: Music Legend Lou Adler, who produced both the Monterey Pop festival and the documentary as well as 'Jimi Hendrix - A Documentary,' long-time Hendrix engineer/producer Eddie Kramer and 'Jimi Hendrix - A Documentary' director Gary Weis. The films begin at 8:30pm to 6:00am PST. No reservations necessary. The Panel will be from 10:00-10:30PM.
