The Greenhornes * December 6th @ The Troubadour
The Greenhornes just released their fourth full-length album, ¡¹¡¹¡¹¡¹, last
week via Third Man Records and are headed to the west coast to play a show
at The Troubadour on December 6th! This native Cincinnati trio, have been
making sweet rock n¡¦ roll together for well over a decade. The Greenhornes
¡V made up of Craig Fox, Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather, The Raconteurs) and
Patrick Keeler (The Raconteurs) ¡V consistently produce the highest quality
of rock¡¦n¡¦roll. This time around, John Curly lent his producing chops to
help create what has come to be their signature sound, solid if not seeping
with nostalgia, garage-tastic songs.

Check out an exclusive interview/performance video on AOL/Spinner HERE
<http://www.spinner.com/2010/11/09/the-greenhornes-four-stars-album/> and
be sure to catch them live in LA!

Praise for ¡¥¡¹¡¹¡¹¡¹¡¦:
¡§¡Kan exceedingly agreeable collection of ultra-catchy garage-pop complete
with slash-and-burn guitars, wheedling psychedelic organs, gauzy ballads,
dollops of Motown stomp, and loads of love laments¡K¡¨ ¡V Boston Globe

¡§rollicking punk tunes¡K.psychedelic mudslides ¡K.evokes a chill-out room from
1966¡¨ ¡V Rolling Stone

¡§¡¹¡¹¡¹¡¹ (aka "Four Stars") finds the Cincy trio leaner and meaner, almost to
the point of reinvention, as they refine their garage-psych vision. Just
four stars? Shit, we'll give it at least eight!¡¨ - Blurt

The Moondoggies w/Dawes * November 26 @ El Rey Theatre
Seattle quartet the Moondoggies have just released their acclaimed sophomore
album, Tidelands, a sprawling, vigorous album featuring the band¡¦s trademark
harmonies and a warm, vintage sound. Tidelands, (Hardly Art/ Sub Pop), is
the perfect progression from their head-turning debut, Don¡¦t Be a Stranger,
which introduced us to frontman Kevin Murphy¡¦s aching, Neil Young (circa
Crazy Horse) vocals and impassioned lyrics, keyboardist Caleb Quick¡¦s
soulful organ playing and the band¡¦s stirring three-part harmonies. The
album finds the Moondoggies expanding their sonic palette. Some songs are
fashioned from little more than hushed acoustic guitar and vocals -- the
haunting ¡§A Lot of People On My Mind¡¨ and ¡§Empress of the North ¡V while
others, such as ¡§What Took So Long,¡¨ accumulate momentum and embrace a
gospel fervor punctuated with impassioned blasts of organ before reeling
back in quiet reflection. Check out the hand-drawn video to their first
video, ¡§Empress or the North¡¨ (by Washington State artist Drew Christie)

Praise for theMoondoggies:
¡§Seattle quartet the Moondoggies play the kind of cosmic American boogie
perfect for moonshine-fueled hoedowns and front porch jam sessions.¡¨ ¡V
Spin.com

¡§The Moondoggies, like indie-folk leading lights Fleet Foxes and Grizzly
Bear, draw great strength from their vocal harmonies.¡¨ ¡V Pitchfork

 ¡§The Moondoggies, a flannel-clad, Seattle-based indie-folk quartet, prove
that there is more to them than clothing and facial hair ¡K their second
full-length album, Tidelands, is 10 tracks of full-throated vocal harmonies
with a vintage feel.¡¨ ¡V Filter.com

¡§Tidelands is an invigorating album that is completely current and relevant
Americana. But it¡¦s also nostalgic. It¡¦s only been available for a short
time, but I¡¦ve already listened to Tidelands more than any other album this
year.¡¨ ¡V Hear Ya

¡§With his smoked-out tenor, front-man Kevin Murphy sings the campfire
number at a barnburner pace and says one thing's for sure: we're all headed
for a dark, cold ground.¡¨ ¡V Seattle Times

¡§Rootsy harmonies, and old-soul crooning from frontman Kevin Murphy, will
rock your socks off with their live show. Otherworldly, but sonically
refreshing to the modern day listener. The lyrics are honest and personal,
yet there is no overthinking in the music, there is beauty in simplicity.¡¨ ¡V
