Twenty-two year old singer/songwriter/producer Jaymes Young has revealed a new acoustic video for his song
“Two More Minutes” on Earmilk.com –
PRESS HERE to watch! Fans can also remix the track and submit via Earmilk.com. Just four months ago, after moving to Los Angeles from his hometown of Seattle, Jaymes started to self-release the new music he was writing and producing out of
his tiny bedroom. It instantly received attention from various tastemakers, including Zane Lowe of
BBC Radio 1 and various well-respected music blogs. His song “Dark Star” topped the
HypeMachine charts. Since then, he released his debut EP Dark Star
on iTunes and a 13-song free mixtape for his fans. In just one month, the mixtape downloads and listens have surpassed
1 million. Jaymes channels elation, heartache, joyousness and bitterness through the guitarist's blend of indie pop and R&B. It's as if James Blake, Active Child and the Weeknd all wrote down and blended their best and worst memories of past relationships
and hit Record.

There's a haunting quality that underlies the Dark Star EP. The music veers from wobbly synths ("Dark Star") to gentle acoustic guitar ("One Last Time"). The pop hooks of "Moondust" will stay in your head for days. Perhaps the biggest
surprise, though, is Young's unexpectedly earnest, gorgeous cover of Haddaway's Eurodance hit on the mixtape, "What Is Love," disassembled and slowed down to re-imagine the track as a mournful romantic elegy.
