Today Samuel Proffitt announces his debut EP entitled Blue Notebook No. 10, which will be released on January 27th, 2015. Following a series of life-changing personal events, Proffitt traded in the world of dance music for his love of songwriting, storytelling, poetry, and Russian literature. Started as just a collection of songs, Blue Notebook No. 10 is an emotionally motivated and exquisite compilation of indie electronic tracks. As Samuel Proffitt puts it, "The story is always the most important, but there isn't only one way to tell it. It doesn't have to be cohesive in the normative sense." Although each piece of music on the EP possesses its own story, there exists a connection between every song that brings everything to life as if in chapters of the same book.
