Garden City Movement has premiered a soulful, electronic remix for Kutiman’s single “Give It Up” exclusively on Stereogum. This is the leading remix from the Thru You Remix Project, which will be released tomorrow, April 29th. The original version of “Give It Up” was entirely created using vocal and instrument tracks lifted from 23 different YouTube videos of mostly amateur musicians. Kutiman combined the video performance footage of each musician into a single clip that creates the full song. “Give It Up” has garnered over 2 million views.

The Tel Aviv based trio, Garden City Movement recently released their 5 track, Modern West EP via The Vinyl Factory/BLDG 5 Records. In support of their new project, Garden City Movement will continue on the festival circuit this Summer, performing for the first time at UK’s major music festival The Great Escape, plus will play THE FULL HIT OF SUMMER festival in Vienna, Austria with Caribou, Rhye, Timber Timbre and Young Fathers.
