Earlier this year Air's Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Bardi Johannsson of Iceland's Bang Gang released their debut EP Losers Can Win under the moniker Starwalker. Today, the electro-pop duo have combined forces again to unveil a new single entitled "Blue Hawaii." Dunckel and Johannsson tell Stereogum, "'Blue Hawaii' is a song that mixes perfectly the two suns of Starwalker into one galaxy. You want to change the world, but the world will change you." While Jean-Benoit Dunckel (Air, Tomorrow's World, Darkel) and Bardi Johannsson (Bang Gang, Lady & Bird) are well known for other musical endeavours, Starwalker is by no means just a side project - Starwalker is the coming-together of two electro-pop icons, creating the music they were destined to make. The result is celestial music that is all at once shadowy, poetic, vibrant, and complex, with surprises for those who engage. The spatial name represents the merging of two distinctive styles, voices and personalities: a project inspired both by the unpredictable nature of Johannsson's Iceland and the clean, classic design of Dunckel's France which pulls you in with its intensity.

Starwalker have finished a full album that will be released in mid-2015, after both individually will release albums with their solo projects, Darkel and Bang Gang.
