Garden City Movement first made waves on the music scene last Fall with the release of their debut EP – Entertainment, which garnered early press champions like Pitchfork who claims their signature sound stems from “hushed, intertwined vocals” and Clash declared the Entertainment EP was "laden with pop potential." On Bengali Cinema, Garden City Movement picks up where the Entertainment EP leaves off - effortlessly creating a soothing blend of synth-pop that draws from their diverse cultural worlds.

In touring news, Garden City Movement recently supported 4AD’s SOHN and the Cults in Israel. The band is headed to Prague on June 21st to play an afterparty with DJ Shadow for the United Islands Festival, plus will be making their debut at UK’s Glastonbury 2014 for two special performances. In the film world, the trio’s music video for pervious single “Move On” has been claimed as an Official Selection for 2014 Los Angeles Film Festival. Released earlier this year, the video was directed by well-known Israeli actor and rapper/musician Michael Moshonov, Lael Utnik and Mayan Toledan who showcased their stunning cinematography skills that captured a beautiful love story between two emotionally drawn females.
