Brooklyn's new electronic fused indie-rock four-piece Camera2 is comprised of frontman, guitarist, songwriter, and producer Andy Chase (Tahiti 80/Juliana Hatfield/Smashing Pumpkins), guitarist Michael Jurin (Stellastarr*), bassist Aric Gillis (Teenage Kick) and drummer Mike Williams (Teddybears).

The gentleman have teamed up with Vice's Noisey.com to premiere new tracks during a 10-week video series by releasing these songs via music videos, and through short documentaries on the making of each music video. The videos - 18 in total - were shot in various locations of New York City, San Francisco, Martha's Vineyard, and Pennsylvania. Starting today, the guys lead with the video for their current single, "Just About Made It," which was shot by the talented New York-based director Josh Stoddard. The track stems from heart-crushing, dark electronic elements driven by gritty bass lines and heavy-weighted guitar riffs,  topped off with Chase's velvety voice and alluring slow drawl - think Gorillaz, Miike Snow. The video features the band running in the middle of Manhattan after a young boy who tries to steals their band equipment. "We had a lot of crazy ideas when we first conceptualizer the video," says Chase. "Everyone we knew who was in the film industry said the only way we could film ourselves running with the perspective we envisioned was to use an ATV driving down the sidewalk with a camera man in the back facing us as we ran. Or a guy on a motorcycle with the cameraman. We had one insane idea which was to hire a BIG dude running with a person strapped to his back holding the camera and filming us as the big guy ran."

Chase continues, "We almost bagged the entire concept because it was outrageously expensive - getting permits, blocking off streets of NYC and hiring lots of extras to act like pedestrians, but our director Josh knew a steady camera operator who was also a marathon runner and a huge strong guy. This dude was up for the challenge and said he could strap the 65 pounds of steady-cam equipment and camera to him and run as fast as we could!"
