Charismatic 23-year old Willy Moon, who recently signed with Island Records in the UK and Cherrytree Records in the US, has released a brand new single “Yeah Yeah”. The UK- based, New Zealand-born, singer, songwriter, musician and producer has already garnered international attention following the release of an impressive debut single, “Railroad Track<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF479nQ-s8E>” b/w “Bang Bang“ on Jack White’s Third Man Records. Willy Moon will be releasing his EP on December 4th (Cherrytree Records).

Willy Moon writes, records, and produces everything on his own and keeps things short: nothing grazes the three-minute mark. Inspired equally by love of the physical energy of Cab Calloway, the brevity of The Ramones, and the style of film noir, Moon doesn’t blend different sounds so much as smash them together--as if rock ‘n’ roll was deep-frozen in 1965 and abruptly reanimated 45 years later by a laptop hip-hop producer.
