The Good Natured, recently signed to Regal/Parlophone Records in the UK, offer a catchy Gothic twist on Electro-Pop with their track "Skeleton."  The Skeleton EP will be released in the US in October 2011 and will coincide with the band's appearance at CMJ. The track describes being stripped of emotional and physical coverings, leaving you with nothing to hide; metaphorically stripped down to two skeletons standing alone.  Following on the  March 2011 US release of the band's Be My Animal EP and The Good Natured's enthusiastic reception for their SxSW debut, "Skeleton" confirms the band as a force to be reckoned with. It's an effervescent blend of raw passion and dancefloor-friendly synth-pop, with frontwoman Sarah McIntosh's dramatic vocals propelled by a driving rhythm section. The video features the striking 20-year-old and her trio; Sarah's shock of jet black hair, gamine-esque frame, pale skin and ease in front of the camera is proof that the young Londoner is a star in the making.

The Good Natured consists of Sarah; "George" on drums and her brother, Hamish McIntosh, on bass. In the songs featured on the Skeleton EP, Sarah displays her compellingly mature command of the nuances of serious pop music, combined with the darker, and often more sensual, emotional and lyrical content of the Gothic.  The EP tracks "Skeleton" and "Wolves" were both produced by Patrik Berger, known for his work with Robyn.

The Good Natured have already been making a name for themselves with their previous EPs, Be My Animal and Your Body Is A Machine, as well as  their cover of Sufjan Stevens' "For The Widows In Paradise; For The Fatherless In Ypsilanti."   These have boosted their popularity on music blogs so much so that they were in the top 10 most searched acts on Hypemachine recently. The band have received strong support in the UK from Nick Grimshaw, Huw Stephens and Jo Whiley amongst others on BBC Radio One, plus XFM and 6 Music.

With their ability to write such catchy songs while staying true to the Dark-Pop theme, it's no surprise that The Good Natured's fans are so loyal, or that blogs and forums and all over the web are already clamoring for more music.
